WHEN WE BELIEVE
The result and outcome of everything that we wish, wanted expected and worked for, as a person or people needs a degree of believe and hope.
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance
of what we do not see.
The life of a man consist of desires, wants, needs, and sometimes challenges, but at every moment of our lives when in this state and situations we must trust in Him that He is able to do.
we must acknowledge the doer of all things and therefore come to him for our desires, hope, recovery, healing, peace, joy and rescue from sins and afflictions.
To access the inheritance that we have in Christ Jesus, we must believe in him totally.
The word of God in the book of John talks about an army officer who was facing a challege of the his child health issues,
After the two days he left for Galilee. (Now Jesus himself had pointed out that a prophet has no honor in his own country.)When he arrived in Galilee, the Galileans welcomed him. They had seen all that he had done in Jerusalem at the Passover Festival, for they also had been there.
Once more he visited Cana in Galilee, where he had turned the water into wine. And there was a certain royal official whose son lay sick at Capernaum. When this man heard that Jesus had arrived in Galilee from Judea, he went to him and begged him to come and heal his son, who was close to death.
“Unless you people see signs and wonders,” Jesus told him, “you will never believe.”
The royal official said, “Sir, come down before my child dies.”
“Go,” Jesus replied, “your son will live.”
The man took Jesus at his word and departed. While he was still on the way, his servants met him with the news that his boy was living. When he inquired as to the time when his son got better, they said to him, “Yesterday, at one in the afternoon, the fever left him.”
Then the father realized that this was the exact time at which Jesus had said to him, “Your son will live.” So he and his whole household believed.
John 4:14-51
ACCESSING GRACE THROUGH THE
GROWTH IN OUR FAITH
1. Acknowledging Him, the one who made the heaven and the earth, the fact that we acknowledge our maker proves we believe Him,
The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it,
the world, and all who live in it;
Ps.24:1
This shows we can no longer be in the category of those that doubt the existence and power of the maker, we agree to the mysteries of His might and power of His grace and Judgement, we know for sure that he is the just and truthful in his ways faithful to fulfill his covenant and promises for our lives.
The scripture told us of how he revealed His might to Pharaoh ,
Moses replied, “When I have gone out of the city, I will spread out my hands in prayer to the Lord. The thunder will stop and there will be no more hail, so you may know that the earth is the Lord’s.
Exo.9:29.
2. Obedient to His Command.
Everyone that succeeded in the scripture are the doers of His word.
Our lives are associated with others and will be a great outcome for generation when we fulfill the commandment of the master, if we do not follow His orders we will not only affect our lives but the lives of the generations that are to benefit from the vision and purposes the Lord has for us.
every child of God has a purpose to fulfil with many lives associated to it.
Pedro Coster is the owner of the Store where i buy spare part for my cars, he took action when he got the vision to start the business a long time ago, this is a service he started alone and gradually grow it to the point that he could employee the son, and they worked and be come employer of many labour. He rose and fulfil a God’s purpose for his life and become great indeed and this step and action he took continue to save the life of many generation.
David and Samuel and the prophets, who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions, quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies
Hebrews 11:32-24.
when we obey the Lord we justify and prove that we love and believe in him.
3. Take action.
The prompt action that we take to matters justify that we will be at the peak of our purpose, the Lord want us to succeed in the mission he allocated to us, therefore we cannot continue to delay, rather we are to start at the spot and the level or stage of life that we are.
procrastination is not an acceptable lifestyle in the kingdom of God, the Lord will give instruction and wait for a particular moment for it to be carried out by the convener. His expectation from man is obedience.
The word of the Lord came to Jonah son of Amittai: “Go to the great city of Nineveh and preach against it, because its wickedness has come up before me.”
But Jonah ran away from the Lord and headed for Tarshish. He went down to Joppa, where he found a ship bound for that port. After paying the fare, he went aboard and sailed for Tarshish to flee from the Lord.
Jonah 1:1-2
The concern of our wellbeing will always and at many times want to shift our focus from the commandment and leading of the Lord, but weather we are obedient or we loose focus the mission of God will be made manifested. we may try to consider other options as advise by men or as seen in other people who had made it before us, these decisions is usually a risk taken at the detriment of our purpose and peace
“Pick me up and throw me into the sea,” he replied, “and it will become calm. I know that it is my fault that this great storm has come upon you.”
Instead, the men did their best to row back to land. But they could not, for the sea grew even wilder than before.1 Then they cried out to the Lord, “Please, Lord, do not let us die for taking this man’s life. Do not hold us accountable for killing an innocent man, for you, Lord, have done as you please, they took Jonah and threw him overboard, and the raging sea grew calm. At this the men greatly feared the Lord, and they offered a sacrifice to the Lord and made vows to him.
Jonah 1: 12 -16
Though Jonah try to run but the Lord prove Himself God
Then the Lord sent a great wind on the sea, and such a violent storm arose that the ship threatened to break up.All the sailors were afraid and each cried out to his own god. And they threw the cargo into the sea to lighten the ship.
But Jonah had gone below deck, where he lay down and fell into a deep sleep. The captain went to him and said, “How can you sleep? Get up and call on your god! Maybe he will take notice of us so that we will not perish.”
Then the sailors said to each other, “Come, let us cast lots to find out who is responsible for this calamity.” They cast lots and the lot fell on Jonah. So they asked him, “Tell us, who is responsible for making all this trouble for us? What kind of work do you do? Where do you come from? What is your country? From what people are you?”
The practise of procrastination will only put us in an unwanted condition which might made us
loose the original purpose of God for our life, the prophet Jonah never knew that he was going to end up in the belly of a fish.
Now the Lord provided a huge fish to swallow Jonah, and Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three Nigh.
When we believe, trust and Obey God in all area of our lives it will spring up joy from within us and place us at the purpose of existence.
