INTEGRITY
Integrity is one of the expectations of God in the life of His children; integrity is the true character of God
The greatness of God when it comes to integrity cannot be over emphasis; in His ways, He will always keep the covenant and remind generations that were yet unborn when the covenant was made
‘’So the Lord gave Israel all the land he had sworn to give their ancestors, and they took possession of it and settled there. The Lord gave them rest on every side, just as he had sworn to their ancestors. Not one of their enemies withstood them; the Lord gave all their enemies into their hands. Not one of all the Lord’s good promises to Israel failed; every one was fulfilled Joshua 21:43-45 KJV
He will also in His infinite mercies bring them back to the covenant even when they had forgotten, went astray in their sins and to other gods
On the other side, He expected His children to keep their sides of the covenant so there can be a balance, the Holy Spirit only wants to reside in a clean place where there is no dirtiness, stains, or wrinkles, God is a Jealous one He will not overlook His children sharing His glory with other gods, but will at all times give another chance to a willing and a repented soul.
After that whole generation had been gathered to their ancestors, another generation grew up who knew neither the Lord nor what he had done for Israel. Then the Israelites did evil in the eyes of the Lord and served the Baals. They forsook the Lord, the God of their ancestors, who had brought them out of Egypt. They followed and worshiped various gods of the people around them. They aroused the Lord’s anger because they forsook him and served Baal and the Ashtoreths. In his anger against Israel, the Lord gave them into the hands of raiders who plundered them. He sold them into the hands of their enemies all around, whom they were no longer able to resist. 1 Whenever Israel went out to fight, the hand of the Lord was against them to defeat them, just as he had sworn to them. They were in great distress. Then the Lord raised judges,[c] who saved them out of the hands of these raiders. Whenever the Lord raised a judge for them, he was with the judge and saved them out of the hands of their enemies as long as the judge lived; for the Lord relented because of their groaning under those who oppressed and afflicted them. Judges2:10-16,18 NLT
INTEGRITY IN MEN AS EXPECTED BY GOD.
The will of God is to save and back up men at all times of their existence as long as they are willing to keep their sides of the promises,
If a nation or an individual is consumed by the afflictions that come as a result of their sins, negligence, and disobedient to God, The only way out remains to return to the same God that had judged and punished them, the infinite mercy of God will make Him to always show kindness and forgive man as long as he is ready to make his ways right and do that which is expected by God,
People, nations, or individuals that are ready to stand against all odds and keep their sides of the covenant with God as He will always keep His: will not only save himself but will do to generation upon generations after him a glorious favor that will bring down the Joy the Lord desires for every person.
The man Jephthah was said to be a man of valor and integrity, who went on his knee to make a vow to God so that he could be favored and experience the power of God to defeat the enemies of his nation and liberate many generations after him.
Then the Spirit of the Lord came on Jephthah. He crossed Gilead and Manasseh, passed through Mizpah of Gilead, and from there he advanced against the Ammonites. And Jephthah made a vow to the Lord: “If you give the Ammonites into my hands, whatever comes out of the door of my house to meet me when I return in triumph from the Ammonites will be the Lord’s, and I will sacrifice it as a burnt offering.”Judges 11:29-31
Jephthah made an imaginable vow with God, this is the kind of covenant that is almost impossible to fulfill, but a person of integrity will live and stand by his word, not only did Jephthat make a dangerous vow he fulfilled it,
‘’When Jephthah returned to his home in Mizpah, who should come out to meet him but his daughter, dancing to the sound of timbrels! She was an only child. Except for her, he had neither a son nor a daughter. When he saw her, he tore his clothes and cried, “Oh no, my daughter! You have brought me down and I am devastated. I have made a vow to the Lord that I cannot break.” Judges 11:34-35
Many Countries, organizations, and groups of people all over the world are only looking for a man of integrity to take over their affairs and management for them to escape the looming dart of the wicked
The word of God admonished us in the Philippines 4:8 saying: Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
