The will of God is to keep us save and save indeed till eternal life. These promises have not changed.

As a partaker of His promise we are expected to be consistence and be brave in our daily Christian living Our meditation of scripture, holding on to is second coming, trusting and obeying the Lord and most especially praying must not be a temporal thing or seasonal duty, it is a regular habit and our way of life. Thes 5:17, Joel 3:9-10

After the confirmation of that victory, the promotion at your place of work, the appointment letter from your dream job, manifestation of that long time desired wedding ceremony, the grace for the fruit of the womb, the miracle of mercy that allow your children to keep growing successful in every area of life and the unending peace of Christ that you enjoy are you still praying?

Our sward of faith (Prayer) must be kept , it must be made and be put to work always, Our Father and God want us to awake and quickened with a steadfast trust for him Eph.6:11-19

Our consistence prayer life enhances a quality communication and perfect relationship with our maker which justify our access to His covenants.
