THE MEAL THAT KILLS
As fuel facilitate the livelihood of a car, water and sunlight sustain the tree, not forgetting the importance of the soil to the plants, in which their nutrients for a living lie, so is the food to the human’s body.
The primary need of every person that is living is food, whether poor, rich or wealthy. The body of a human depends on food to survive, this, therefore, made meals a necessity and most essential.
As commanded by God every person must be in search of his daily meal.
‘By the sweat of your face, you shall eat bread, till you return to the ground’.
The will of God is that we all work for our daily bread and every other thing that makes a good life. He loved us to make all efforts to succeed and increase our abilities to remain relevant in our areas of endeavors, by all times personal development and skills retrained.
“Do you see a man skillful in his work? He will stand before kings; he will not stand before obscure men”
Nevertheless every food for the belly, but every opportunity is not an access to a rightful possession, every door that opens does not lead to a purposeful destination. The meal with the king does not necessarily mean a breakthrough.
The opportunities taken from a wicked source are a loan from the devil that must soon be returned with a heavy interest of fortune, blood, and waters.
When thou sittest to eat with a ruler, consider diligently what is before thee:
And put a knife to thy throat, if thou be a man given to appetite.
Be not desirous of his dainties: for they are deceitful meat.
Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye, neither desire thou his dainty meats:
Proverbs 23:1-3,6 kjv
Your unjust association we lead to a destructive end where there will be no help, do not be desperate no matter how tough your situation gets, a decision taken in a rush and want will never profit goodness.
“Don’t associate with evil men; don’t long for their favors and gifts. Their kindness is a trick; they want to use you as their pawn. The delicious food they serve will turn sour in your stomach, and you will vomit it and have to take back your words of appreciation for their “kindness.”
Proverbs 23:6-8 NLT
Our situation at times can lead us almost astray but the consciousness of the son of whom we are can save us from an impending looms that is behind the glittering cave. Our lives plus existence and the fulfillment of our God given purpose depend solely on the help of the Holy Spirit.
